Lenovo ThinkPad P52s – Best Lenovo Laptop For Student
Okay, So starting with our very first laptop which can surely rule the top position in this list of best Lenovo laptops for students is Lenovo Thinkpad P52. Thinkpad P52 is one of the successfully designed laptops by Lenovo. Lenovo put so much effort into this laptop because it has something which you even imagine and at so much affordable price, So I can easily say that this is the value to money laptop.
The processor chip equipped in this Lenovo Thinkpad is from Intel, 8th Generation Core i7-8550U. This processor uses 4 cores to process your data and 8 thread to render everything faster means more speed. With its bulky memory, this i7 processor has many efficient results in many ways, you can do multitasking, web browsing, creating presentations, and many more which can’t think about. The clock speed of this processor starts from 1.8GHz to 4.0GHz, and if you think that this speed is not enough then you are wrong, mate!
You are wrong because it has bulky memory which is like never-ending or to be precise it is future proof means this memory will help you even after your study. So the memory used in this ThinkPad is from DDR4, and the capacity is this memory is 32GB. Apart from 32GB, DDR4 has also better results in fast performance as compared to the older version which is DDR3.
Not only the memory is beast but also its storage capacity. The storage is in this machine has 1TB of capacity and is based on SSD. Now, SSD design to provide fast speed as well as boosted transfer rate. If you install the software or whole Windows on SSD, it will boot it in minutes or seconds which saves your precious time indirectly.
I would recommend this laptop to every student from any faculty because it is the machine that is so the value to money and pocket friendly.
Now moving to its design, So as I said in the beginning that Lenovo improved much on this Thinkpad, same with its design, now this P52 is not a thick, bulky, heavy and ugly laptop like its older versions but now P52 is redesigned with a thin and durable body. The whole body is made up of aluminum and the thickness of this laptop is just O.7 inches which is much lesser than its older one.
But the graphics of this laptop is the same as it is traditional in ThinkPad series, Same red color used in trackpad, and pointing stick. But the overall design is Lit. I don’t like buttons in trackpad because I’m fond of the Buttonless trackpad.
Now, the display placed in this ThinkPad P52 is 15.6 inches in size. The technology used in this to maintain the color capability is the FHD IPS panel which provides more vivid colors. FHD or Full High Definition is using for Crystal clear content in each pixel by the resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Now it is affordable, full of features, and also it has an edge for some students who love to use editing software or maybe medium end gaming because it is loaded with dedicated GPU which is NVIDIA Quadro P500 means it can improve display by 60% and also gives support to adobe editing software.
Now if we talk about the connectivity ports so, Lenovo Thinkpad P52s comes with one Thunderbolt 3 port, one USB 3.1 Type C port, two USB 3.1 Type A, an audio combo jack, a full-sized HDMI port, and SD card reader which is enough nowadays.
Having this of components puts some load on the battery of the laptop but ThinkPad P52 has a battery life of 4 hours which is enough as a student.

Lenovo Flex – Best Lenovo 2 in 1 Laptop For Student
Now we have one of the well-known laptops from Lenovo series which is Flex. Flex series is basically launched to produce convertible or 2 in 1 laptop. These flex series is quite famous among students and teachers because of its lightweight and easy to carry. This particular Lenovo Flex looks quite similar to Hp Spectre X360 and to be honest I really Hp Spectre X360. Now forget about Spectre let’s talk about this Flex.

The memory in this Lenovo Flex is from the DDR4 family with the capacity is 16GB. That’s mean it can calculates your data more faster by processing it also to make available the computer data to the processor. As much as the memory extend this laptop will be more productive in every multi-tasking.
But not only the memory, you also have to select the best processor for greater combination. I’m telling you just for your knowledge, otherwise you don’t have upgrade any of these component because this Flex is already loaded with hefty parts.
The storage capacity in this Lenovo Flex is 512GB, and that is from PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. It is step forward technology than a normal SSD. Normal SSD has more speed than a traditional HDD, while the PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD is more modified to be more productive in fast read and write and consumption of low battery power because of no moving parts.
Okay, after chitchat about the performance, now let’s picked the display of Lenovo Flex and as I said in the beginning that design of this Lenovo looks like Hp Spectre X360 because of its curves and thinness, As this Flex comes with touchscreen means that Lenovo Flex is convertible or 2 in 1, so you can just adjust this Flex as a tablet, tent, or a laptop but it is not detachable.
The chassis of this machine is made up of Aluminum which is so durable with matte black color which also embrace its durability, and Flex is mainly work on lightweight so it only weighs around 3.68 pounds which is a plus point for students.
The display in this Flex is 14 inch in size and the technology used in this display is IPS and touchscreen with FHD. Now FHD shows you more accurate screen colors and resolutions than normal one. IPS increase wide viewing angles. Also it has anti glare features mean you can use it at late night without damaging your eyes in its brightness also provide more crystal clear vision.

Talking about its storage capacity, this laptop is loaded with an enough amount of GBs because for students, 256GB is enough I guess, if your mainly purpose to have a laptop is just because of note taking and other multi tasking which doesn’t requite you to save or store much data. This storage is based on a normal SSD.
Now as I said Lenovo try to improve the UX so they once again turns to it tried and engineered true brushed Aluminum design. The complete outer chassis is using the brushed aluminum except keys, which giving it an excellent feel just like MacBook. There is something similar to Lenovo Ideapad and that is its keyboard assembly but only difference is that this newly design is more comfortable.
The screen lid is quite light in weight and it opens with only one hand or even one finger, and it’s got nice tension. It is smoother and it is easy to open, but most importantly its also durable with soft-touch finish. This Lenovo laptop has a much-improved build quality from its previous generations.

Lenovo Flex 15 is accompanied by the 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8550U Processor. It has a boost frequency rate of 4.0GHz and base frequency up to 1.8GHz, it means that this 8th gen processor is going to give you the speedy multi-tasking, and no lag in countless note taking.
With 8th Generation i7, Lenovo also makes an exclusive combination 8GB DDR4 RAM to minimize lag issues. It won’t make you annoy by giving you “oh sorry no response” errors. It can’t be compare with 16GB RAM but still it is better than 4GB.
The storage capacity in this Lenovo Flex 15 is coming from SSD family, and it has 256GB capacity which is enough or not I don’t know. But still it make better performance because of PCIe SSD, also give responsive speed.
Lenovo Flex 15 engineered with a design which is quite similar to Hp business laptop. But it is much more thinner than other Hp laptops. Lenovo Flex 15 is really a outstanding laptop without having any overheating problems because of its Cooling System.
Most design of the Lenovo Flex series feels like they have a purpose to provide you a premium build quality. It’s a dual tone black color which is shinny and matte at the same time, aluminum deck and the black lid gives it a unique look. Also you don’t have to unlock it via password, just tap your finger in its fingerprint reader to unlock instantly.
The 15.6 inches display gets plenty bright and less vibrant, but it has more vivid colors. Its display is touchscreen to obtain 2 in 1 feature, the screen resolution of Lenovo Flex 15 is 1920 x 1080 pixel.
Talking about the connection interfaces in this Flex 15, so will get, full size HDMI port, two USB 3.0 Type A port, one USB 3.0 Type C port, SD card reader, and audio combo jack. Which is quite good according to the trend.

Lenovo IdeaPad 3 – Best Lenovo Ideapad For Students
- Aspect Ratio:16:9
- AMD Ryzen 5 3500U Mobile Processors with Radeon Graphics deliver powerful performance for everyday tasks
- Dopoundsy Audio delivers crystal-clear sound, while the 14-inch FHD screen and narrow side bezels give you more viewing area and...
- Quick and quiet with Q-control – Effortlessly swap between fast and powerful performance and quiet battery saving mode
- Connect with ease using Bluetooth 4.1, up to 2x2 Wi-Fi 5, three USB ports, and HDMI
To be honest, I’m not a very big fan of Lenovo Ideapad series laptops but this particular is quite good in case of performance and other factors.
To get maximum performance from this machine, Lenovo loaded this laptop with my AMD Ryzen 5 3500U. Now this AMD chip is more capable than 2500U but numbers are different in case of memory. This Ryzen can go up to 3.7GHz. This processor is faster than i7 that why Lenovo combine Ryzen 3500U with…
8GB DDR4 RAM which is more than enough for this laptop and processor. It synchronizes with Ryzen to give best user experience by making laptop lag free.
Now the laptop itself is so affordable So I can’t make any judge with the storage capacity of the laptop. It has 256GB SSD which is quite value to money if compare it with its price tag.
Now, If we look on the design, So it is not that eye catching like other laptops in this list but still it get managed to provide durability. Actually whole casing is made up of ABS Plastic which is solid like Aluminum but it flex something. Reason to use Plastic is just to make this laptop lightweight and also help to remain cool because Plastic is bad conductor for Heat Transfer compare to Aluminum. So, it won’t annoy you by heating issues.
Lenovo Ideapad 3 comes with a comfortable and responsive Keyboard. This keybaord is not only easy for grip but also good for those students who are robots at typing and need a reliable keyboard for typing. Also it has Buttonless Touchpad which taken my side, but it doesn’t comes with Backlit option which is quite necessary nowadays.
If we look on its display then Lenovo IdeaPad 3 comes with 14 inch display which is FHD and responsible to give you more bright and vivid colors but not like ThinkPad P52, though this is not a touchscreen laptop but its screen glass is protected and no scratch can create on this display glass, the screen resolution of this Ideapad 330 is 1920 x 1080 pixels which is enough, With the help of its integrated coprocessor AMD Radeon Vega 8, contents become more accurate colors.
So there are a number of interfaces in Ideapad which make this Lenovo laptop quite easy to use, on the left side of the body there is full-sized HDMI Port, three USB Gen 1,Type-A ports in which two of them are 3.0 and one is 2.0. Ans On the right side of the body, there is a media card reader, and audio combo jack.
Lenovo Ideapad series prefer with 7 hours battery life on laptop, so Lenovo Ideapad 3 can last up to 7 hours on multitasks like notetaking and presentation making, and it is a weight around 3.30 pounds which is backpack friendly.

Lenovo Yoga 730 created a balanced combination of components for the both working and studying environment. These combo allow Yoga 730 to perform very well and fast also it is good for multitasking. Now first part for this combination is its processor which is 8th Generation Intel Core i5-8250U which is good for this 2 in 1 laptop.

The storage capacity in this Lenovo laptop based on SSD and the capacity of this SSD is 256GB. This storage capacity is enough for normal works and especially for this laptop. SSD usually works faster as compared to the HDD.

This ThinkPad is totally different, from all other models, even I get confused that it is from Thinkpad or Ideapad because the design is totally changed, no red and black combination. This time, this laptop is totally changed and redesigned, so let’s get some knowledge about this laptop.
Now, Again Lenovo equipped this laptop with i5 chip and it is 8th Generation. The full model name is 8th Generation Intel Core i5-8265U. This processor can go up to 3.6GHz to give you lag free response.
Now the memory inside this laptop is also capable to improve overall laptop strength by managing everything and catch anything you throw in its way. It has 8GB DDR4 RAM which is enough for students but not value to money like ThinkPad p52.

Lenovo accompanied this laptop with a processor from Intel family and the model is 7th Generation Intel Core i5-7200U , this processor is perfect for most reasons because this chip is quite responsible for all touchscreen displays. Although this chip is not that powerful than the above ones but still you can rely on it as a student.
But this is not an enough, to give you a more smooth response in web browsing and multi tasking, Lenovo includes 8GB DDR4 RAM, and this DDR4 memory is well optimized and suitable for 7th gen processor.
Storage capacity in this Lenovo Yoga 710 is 256GB PCIe SSD and I’m start thinking that 256 is a universal capacity by Lenovo, this SSD is also optimized for not consuming much battery life, and also it is responsible for fast loading speed.
Now, lets talk about the design of this laptop. The design of this laptop is dot to dot same like Yoga 730. Only difference is its curves and use of plastic. I’m feeling to not to write about anything about this laptop because everything is same like Yoga 730 except its big screen.
Again from the display sector, everything is same but its display is quite big enough with its 15.6 Inch Display which is good, really it is good because size does matter when it comes to Display.
Now, do I really have to talk about its Connectivity ports on this laptop? No it doesn’t need, just look on 730’s.
